Coltman street 'Village' street party 2003
This is the day each year when we celebrate a sense of community and we try to do something for each other, as well as to change the image of Coltman street for the better.
 | |
In 2003 there was a history event in the Creative-Thinking building, plus some crafts.
|
 | |
Music as always, this time the Hessle Road Angels and DJing from Mr Bubbles (Dave)
|
 | |
A balloon race won by an entry found in Felixstowe, and ice cream for the kids.
|
 | |
The Wardens Mural Project was explained by Kate Scully of Public Arts, (While The Wardens themselves loaded local children down with 'freebies') and Stephen explains balloons to some visitors. Unsuccessfully!
|
The next street party will take place on the first Sunday in September (as usual) which in 2004 falls on 5th September.
